TV fails to record timer programme

This issue has existed for a while in the UK and seems specific to serial recordings
Log 85878 00.58 CEST (23.58 BST) TV didn't record timer scheduled for channel 5 at 00.30 CEST (23.30 BST).
The timer entry was highlighted in red but the Loewe eye remained white
